Density is the basic index of the material of slow rebound pillows. Generally, the polyurethane density of the molding process can be 70-100, and the cutting process can be 40-70. If it exceeds this range, it may be fake. There is a density of 130-150 on the market, which is almost unrealistic for pure polyurethane manufacturers. The only possibility is to add other things, such as talcum powder and so on. From the perspective of a professional and technical personnel, it is possible for 110-density pure polyurethane, but there is no other possibility. In addition, even products with the same density will vary greatly, mainly due to differences in formulas, processes and raw materials. That is to say, the material of slow rebound pillows must be high-density, but only high-density materials are not necessarily high-end materials. ;
Many consumers believe that the longer the rebound time, the better, which is a misunderstanding. The better rebound time is about 3-5 seconds. Too short will not have a slow rebound effect; too long will make the body stiff (think if you turn over, it hasn’t rebounded for a long time);
There are two manufacturing processes for slow rebound, cutting and molding. Cutting is the finished slow-rebound sponge that is bought, cut into pillows, because the molding is cut instead of mold + additives, no other additives are added, so even the density of pure polyurethane can only achieve a density of 40-70. The molding is made through a series of processes such as adding additives, foaming, and mold pressing. Due to the addition of other additives, including foaming, softness, etc., the density increases by about 70-100. Feel good. The service life of the pillow has nothing to do with this process.
Hand feel and temperature sensitivity: The slow rebound pillow sponge feels very comfortable, and it feels like kneading dough. The almost slow rebound feels a bit soft or stiff. At the same time, this kind of slow rebound pillow has good temperature sensitivity, it will become soft and hard with temperature changes, and you can see the fingerprints without putting pressure on your hands;
